Unfortunately, like many, many things on Amazon, the product page is not very informative.
**WARNING!!** These syringes are NOT the luer lock type or slip tip type, they're permanently fixed needles, more like tuberculin syringes. The product page SHOULD mention this, but it doesn't. **WARNING!!**
I wouldn't have purchased these if I knew that. Amazon should be more diligent to ensure their products have adequate descriptions. Unfortunately, I've reported items to Amazon that don't have adequate descriptions, including descriptions REQUIRED BY LAW such as nutrition information, and they declined to COMPLY WITH LAW in properly describing things.

(More customer reviews)In my experience with this "NOW" Magnesium Citrate, I have found that if you have any form of inflamatory bowel disease, a little too much of this stuff [amount varies for the individual] will give you a very loose stool. While it is still best absorbed by people with Ulcerative Colitis and Crohns compared to other magnesium forms, small doses are indicated, or else you will be staying very near the restroom. That having been said this is the best magnesium product for most people and you get alot for a reasonable price.
On the other hand, people with chronic constipation get nothing but good from this product as it makes them very regular very fast.
If you need Magnesium in the Citrate form, this "NOW" product is an excellent and reasonably priced choice.
While we are still pleased with this product my husband no longer plans to continue using it having Crohns, though I will still be taking it, having enjoyed excellent results for over a year.

The key is, the sooner you get it on the better. I've burned myself on the oven coil, and immediately applied Foille and had NO further pain OR blistering. (I always keep a tube in the kitchen drawer right by the stove.) It's great for sunburns also, however, since a sunburn is acquired slowly, it doesn't seem to have the same efficiency on that type of burn. It also helps take away pain from cuts, and itching from insect bites. I recommend this product above any other salve/ointment I've ever tried. You just can't go wrong with this.

I bought it because of a study done in Pakistan in which type 2 diabetics were given either 1,2, or 6 grams of cinnamon bark per day for 40 days. The end result of the study was that in all three groups, statistically significant reductions in blood glucose levels occurred, with decreases ranging from 18 to 29 percent. Interestingly, glucose levels remained significantly lower after the 20-day wash-out period (60 days from the study start) only in the group that took the lowest cinnamon dose (1 gram daily). The placebo groups showed no significant changes.
I am not diabetic (yet), but I did note a marked increase in energy and less of a need to eat between meals because of reactive hypoglycemia after taking this product for a few days. Unlike gymnema sylvestre, which has a long-lasting effect, cinnamon bark is definitely short-term, so you should take it with food so that the cinnamon has something to react with. It supposedly has an effect on LDL cholesterol too, but I have not been back for blood tests since I started taking this product, so I cannot attest to that alleged attribute.
