Unfortunately, there are two functions I failed to look for, which are critical for my lifestyle! This watch has NO BACKLIGHT function and no actual TIMER. For a watch that has 12 alarms, it is likely to be dark at some point. So to not have any light functions was a big drawback for the money. Also, if you use timer functions frequently, setting an alarm is cumbersome if you simply wish to time an activity on occasions - then clear it.
Also, everywhere online I looked, it is only available in black. Although there is a purple version shown on some websites, it doesn't seem to be available.
This watch seems to be aimed at an elderly target audience, but I am using the watch to make critical life changes and need reminders when to wake, retire, exercise, meds and eat snacks and meals. I am a night person who is transitioning to days and the watch does help me be more on my new schedule.
The text function is pretty cool - you can type in anything that applies to your need for an alarm. So this doesn't have to be JUST a medical watch. It could also be used for meetings, appointments, daily program reminders. Even the info fields could hold non-medical info you might need or want.
