(More customer reviews)I have only had this particular model for a year, but I have had a smaller model for a number of years that has done the job very well. I grew out of the smaller one when I started taking fish oil supplements which come in huge capsules. I tried a non-locking brand which did not work very well when I dropped it on the floor. It's amazing how far pills and capsules scatter when dropped. The locking mechanism works very well on these. I can drop them on the floor. I can travel without worrying about them opening up. There was one bad thing about my purchase, I bought two of them and one of them would not lock. I fixed that by swapping the locking bars between the two and they both worked perfectly after that. I thought about removing a star because of that, but the product works so well that I couldn't bring myself to give it only four stars.
