I noticed that he was starting to be confused about if he took his medications each day and would be frustrated when his medications needed to be refilled. I took over the task of picking up and organizing his medications and I can tell Dad is relieved to not have to worry about it. It is a task to load a month's worth of medications for me, cause my dad takes a lot of medications each day. I open all the compartments in the medication organizer and as I open each bottle from the pharmacy, I go down the line of open compartments filling them with the proper dosages for each day. I make a list of refill dates for the month, so I know when I need to get to the pharmacy to pick up a new batch of meds and then I know exactly which day I need to refill the organizer's compartments.
I recommend this product to anyone who finds it frustrating to remember if they have taken their meds each day or needs to make sure they keep a schedule for refills. The jumbo compartments are big enough to hold a number of medications. (I was worried that they would be too small for the 14 medications Dad takes in the morning, but there is plenty of room for the meds with room to spare.)
PS: The talking clock/alarm is very loud and everyone in the house seems to be drawn to push it's buttons. :-)
