These are very different from Atkins and 'health' bars I've tasted. I've reduced carbs this year and find that ordinary food now taste incredibly sweet, so I have to spit them out. Most nutrition bars are also sweet and I can tell by heat surges later on that the sugar alcohols and other artificial sweeteners have triggered a big insulin release. Some bars also taste of wood shavings or other odd flavours
Quest bars are naked - ie they have no chocolate covering. They remind me of home made bars, but much more sophisticated and subtle tasting. They are pleasantly sweet and not overwhelming. The texture is firm and not cloying.
I like the Vanilla & Almond flavour best.
