Bd Home Sharps Container. Designed to Hold Both Insulin Syringes and Pen Needles, the BdTM Home Sharps Container Is a Leak-proof and Puncture-resistant Container for Safe, Convenient Disposal of Used Sharps Review

(More customer reviews)This is a great way to dispose of your used syringes, pen needles, lancets, and other bio waste. They are a good size to sit on the counter, and I also have one in a drawer in my office. Conveniently captures syringes by manually dropping them into one of the holes on top. If you use pen needles you simply insert the tip of the needle into the container and unscrew it - the needle drops into the container perfectly. When you've filled the container the sturdy plastic lid snaps into place and is easy to dispose of.
DISPOSING: Most towns have regulations about how you can dispose of bio-hazardous waste, but they are pretty easy to comply with. In my town for example you can take them to a pharmacy, or to the recycling center. Additionally, you can use a mail-in service.
