If your looking for a sweet snack that is filling and yummy I'd go with the Cinnamon flavor, LOVE those. I would NOT buy the Zesty ranch, those tasted awful. After treating one of my cats for diabetes for several years, I learned the hard way about proper feline nutrition. It turns out that the grain-based dry cat food I had been feeding my beloved pet was actually killing him.
Cats are true obligate carnivores. Their digestive systems were never designed to process grains or any other high carbohydrate food. A cat's pancreas can't keep up with the insulin demands placed on it by high carbohydrate dry food. Once the pancreas is compromised, the cat develops diabetes and becomes insulin dependent.
Due to their ease and convenience, dry kibble-type cat foods are very popular with pet owners, and cats can become addicted to it. (More customer reviews)I wasn't sure what to expect when I picked up this drink but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a nice still water with a natural pear flavor. The latter was key because I was worried it might taste artificial or off, but instead it tasted crisp and true to life. It's worth noting that the flavor is subtle. It actually didn't hit me when I first took a sip but lingered in my mouth after I'd finished the beverage. It is definitely much more subtle than a juice or flavored seltzer water, but is enough to add interest and variety for those who don't drink enough water when it's plain. I also love that there are no calories, caffeine or other artificial ingredients making it the perfect guilt-free drink.
Overall, it's delicious. If you're expecting a strong, juice-like flavor you'll probably be disapointed, but if you're looking for a light, clean flavor that is more interesting than water this is a great choice.

To be clear, I do believe this is not the same SIZE bag you can readily pickup in your local supermarket. The local Walmart, Target, Publix and Albertons bags are of the 9.7 ounce variety, not this huge gigantic bag. So this is in essence, two of those bags for this price. Pretty even I would think.
I love this stuff and it for all things that need sweetening. I put it in coffee, a little in my high fiber cereal, sometimes in high protein smoothies, sometimes to sweeten my green tea, and just about anything else I can make that needs extra sweetness.
I don't bake yet so would think I need the bake friendly version. ;)

(More customer reviews)I prefer the whole grain to the ground seed. When mixed with liquid (about 2 Tablespoons of Salba to 1 cup of liquid), it forms a gel. The whole grain has the consistency of tapioca pudding; the ground salba is a bit too gritty for me, even after it gels up. Whatever form one uses (ground or whole grain), Salba (chia seed) doesn't have much flavor of it's own, so it takes on the flavor of whatever I mix with it.
I do like that it has omega-3 (which is good for my heart) and fiber (which is good for my digestion).

I've found it very hard to find a granola bar of sorts that doesn't have processed sugars, gluten (wheat, flour etc), is organic, quick to eat and tastes good!
