It tastes great, and I don't have to struggle with changing my routine, so my diet works with me! And, because the shake has more substance than piece of fruit, or a snack bar, it gives me the same morning energy support that I need to make it to my snack time (3 hrs later).

(More customer reviews)These muffins are delicious, nutritious, and (best for me) very easy to make! Black cherry was not overly sweet and didn't have that "fake" cherry taste.
They are choc-full of all those really healthy ingredients that should not taste good together, but they do. They may *seem* pricey, but I've tried creating muffin-like-thingees like this on my own and it wasn't cheap. And it wasn't easy. And they didn't taste this good.
I'll be the first to admit they don't taste like the muffins grandma made. But these won't contribute to heart disease, diabetes, and obesity, either.
These are very filling and can hold you as well as a meal in a pinch. Very fiberfilled! Since we are on a diet, we take them on trips to curb those crazy eating habits away from home.
I've tried both the Splenda & the Xylitol versions and they are equally good. Splenda is sweeter but Xylitol is slightly more moist.
Be sure to let the wet dough "rest" for 10 minutes per the instructions. I suspect this may be the reason one of the other reviewers reported that his muffins were hard as rocks.

Now I've got some of the rye again and I realize--I love the Multigrain! Maybe they changed the recipe for the rye ones--they're almost like sawdust when you chew them. The Multigrain ones are so yummy--you can just grab a couple and munch on them for a snack. They have a very slightly sweet taste, like whole grain products often do, but they go well with everything. My favorite thing to top them with is plain cream cheese with salt and pepper. Just add water and bake (a little oil makes it more moist) For Christmas I re hydrated no sugar dried fruit in wine then used the liquid to make the cake mix, added the re hydrated fruit and nuts. The resulting fruit cakes were the best we ever had. (More customer reviews)I have been feeding our dogs Greenie bones since they first came out and we have NEVER had a problem. I have German Shepards, Dobermans and medium sized hound dogs. They all love their GB's and I find that because our Dobie tends to be a "garbage belly" (meaning she'll eat anything!), so sometimes she doesn't smell as nice as she should, really benefits from the "green" in Greenie Bones. I would like to know where "E. Antic" gets his/her information from.....as I can find nothing that says they are "deadly", except for those people that haven't done responsible research (not just hearsay from some list). If your dogs are gulpers or greedy chewers, then I wouldn't feed them ANYTHING, especially RAWHIDE, that could be gulped and swallowed in large pieces or whole. Do we need to bring up "NYLABONES"????? Always be a responsible dog owner and supervise your dogs when giving any kind of treats. Please don't be afraid of Greenie Bones because of E. Antic's post. You can buy Greenie's in singles, so try one before you commit to a whole box. I have friends that have dogs that don't really like them and that's okay. My girls live for their morning GB's and I now give them Greenie "Smart Biscuits" for an afternoon snack. They love the taste and we love them for the 'benefits'!!
I respectfully request that Amazon and Amazon members make up their own minds, and not fall to the 'fear mongers' and ignorance amoung us. Always supervise your dogs when giving treats - after all, they are the animals and we are supposed to be the 'smart' ones.....don't be afraid, do your homework, it always pays!

The reason i NEVER order food online is bcoz they only ship you the product expiring VERY SOON. Prior to ordering from amazon, I went to several gourment markets in my neighborhood that said they carry the product, but actually they do not. I resolved to my last option- online order. and guess what? all 6 boxes of cookies arrived in the condition that I've feared/expected- expiring in 1.5 month from the date of arrival.
