NEW Poucho Diabetic Wallet Pen 3 1/2 x 7 Keep Insulin Safe Between 60 - 86 Degrees for up to 96 Hours with No Refrigeration Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This Poucho Duo Pen wallet kept 2 insulin pens below 72 degrees for a week in Maui where it was 78-85 and humid. I re-wet it one time. At home again, I have it drying on the sink for a week, still not entirely dry, but I am cognizant of the review that complained about developing bad smells so I will let it get very dry and not cool before storing it for next time. I put a small thermometer in with the pens to check the temperature and felt confident that my insulin was not overheating.
A YEAR LATER: I have used this Poucho several times by now, letting it dry thoroughly after each use. I keep it in the frige and take it with me out to dinner with a pen in it. I don't wet it for these short times and feel the insulin in better off than naked in my purse. The trick is to remember to replace it and the pen in the frige when you get home!
